Props
· When spray painting the mask we had to ask a professional to spray it for us as the fumes can be deemed as dangerous.
· With face paint and the fake blood, we have to make sure that the actors wearing the paints have no allergic reactions.
· For the eye contacts the actor will only wear when needed for as little time possible to prevent eye irritation or reactions.
Setting
· As we had to wait until the school was closed to film, the cleaners were washing the floors, and therefore we had to wait for the floors to dry before we could film to reduce risk of injuring ourselves or equipment.
· In the scene when the actor has to fall down backwards down the stairs at the end of the hallway, to prevent injury we would place a crash mat where the actor would fall.
· We purposely planned to shoot the film in the school which is a safe area with lots of staff on hand, as it will be dark and late at night therefore would need to be somewhere we know the crew would not be at risk from others/ safe.
