Movies ive watched and made notes on so i can use ideas in my film 3

Scream 3

-Sounds louder than they seem – repeats back to first film.

-Same characters.

-Phone call again. But to start with – different voice.

-Same shower scene as second film but for real- relates to old horror movie “psycho” again.

-Phone wires cut just like the other 2 films.

-Eerie music as before.

-Same type of settings again – big house.

-This time using fake voices over phone.

Same clothing/masks/weapon as the previous movies.

-TV – person – one of the main characters talking about “madmen” when there’s obviously one in his home- the killer.

-Dark colours – night, daytime – bright colours – also effects the mood that characters are in.

-Misleading people – just like the other films.

-Everyone acting strange – could be any of them.

-Character sliced in same place as previous movie.

-Still talking about rules of horror movies but in different context.

-Talks about the other two scream films.

-Creating a film of the film while it’s going on.

-Movie called stab – all characters stabbed – ironic.

-Film within a film.

- first film – the real movie, second film – has a film about the first, third film – Set around making stab film which relates to the first fake film stab in the second scream.

-Talking about characters that their playing.

-Use of fog – gives eerie look.

-More psychological than the other films.

-tricks people into thinking someone else is on the phone when it’s actually the killer.

-Try’s to hide amongst other scream masks + outfits – can’t see who the killer is.

-Killer killing people in order of who gets killed in the movie “stab 3” – The remake of the real murders.

-Talking about who survives in slasher movies.

-With the killer using different voices it makes you believe other people are the killers.

-Killer rewrites movie while it’s going on.

-Watching a movie within a movie – (scary)

-Talking about how to survive horror movies – trilogy’s.

-Talking about rules of horror trilogy’s

-Talking about who people look like in real life compared to the movie.

-Going back to where the deaths took place on the set of the film “stab 3”

-Recreating the death of the main characters mother.

-Looking back on trilogies – their views.

-Relates back to first question by the killer.

-Big house on the set to look like the real one.

-Talking about if they were the killer.

-Use of flickering lights - flickering image – creates scarier scene.

-Same type of setting as the first kill.

-Tells the killer to scream – comical and ironic because of the film title.

-Leaves you hanging at the end – cliff hanger – what’s going to happen next.
