Sound planning

To bring more scare to our film and to keep the audience’s attention by making things eerie and frightening we needed to add sounds to p[arts of our film so we went to www.freesound.org and got as range of scary horror sounds such as thuds and increasing tension building music. But we had to decide where we wanted them so Me and Danny sat down and planned out where we wanted some music added so we decided that from the first parts of our film we must have some big thuds when he talks about “murders, disappearances, slaughterings” so that it emphases them three words.

Then after that we needed to add some more sounds so that the film wasn’t just full of Danny talking. So I decided that we would add some other sounds when the Entity appears, this way All the attention is brought upon the ghostlike figure because of the music and also from the sound playing it makes the film more frightening. Then we decided that we would add some spooky music in the background through the whole film in the background so that it isn’t all quiet but at the same time it is a creepy sort of sound so that the film just becomes more frightening.
